At Lyng Primary School, we aim to provide a rich and diverse art curriculum that fosters creativity, self-expression, and an appreciation of the visual arts for all pupils, helping them to see themselves as artists and develop a life-long love of art. Our curriculum equips children with essential skills and techniques in drawing, painting, sculpture, collage, textiles, print, and digital media, taught alongside key concepts of developing ideas, mastering techniques, and taking inspiration from great artists.
